Chapter 2 - Reflections

Hi! Welcome back to your incredible journey of healing, brought to you through Jesus Christ.

Let us give God all the glory and praise that is due Him as you continue your personal healing.

In Chapter 1, you should have discovered the truth surrounding what you have been searching for.

And now that you have, it is time to do a little reflecting and learn the true meaning of  John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

Through this reflection, you will come to understand the truth of "YOU;" the "truth" of how you became who you are today because of the deep secrets you have carefully stored in your heart.

Through this reflection, you will also come to understand what you did to survive, and how you coped with the abuse.

Isaiah 42:22: "But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for prey, and none deliverith; for a spoil, and none says restore."

Do you often feel emotionally robbed and plundered?

Are you snared in holes of misery?

Do you dwell in your personal prison?

If you do, please do not be discouraged because God has a greater plan for your life.

Be encouraged by Ruth 4:14: "And HE shall be unto thee, a restorer of life and a nourisher of thine old age."

God promises us in Ruth's scripture that HE will restore us!

Do not let Satan hold you hostage any longer!

As you work through Looking Back, Looking In, and Looking Up, truthfully answer each question with a "touch and go" attitude. Be careful not to get bogged down in the memories.

Before you begin "Reflections," remember to do the following:

Get your Journey of Courage workbook and get in your Safe Zone.

Put on your armor of God.

Pray for HIS truths to be revealed.

As you work through Chapter 2, open your heart to God and share it with Him.

He desires to restore you!

Allow yourself to feel His loving embrace as you take this part of your healing journey.

The things that will be revealed are truths, and remember John 8:32: "The truth shall set you free."

Once you have completed "Reflections," meet me in Chapter 3, "The Choice," and we, along with Christ, will continue your personal journey of healing.

Until then, "may the footsteps along your journey of life always lead you to God."
