Chapter 4 - Breaking Satan's Bondage

Hi! Welcome back to your incredible journey of healing, brought to you through Jesus Christ.

Let us give God all the glory and praise that is due Him as you continue your personal healing.

Now that you have recognized the past and present influences in your life and realized how to make better future choices, let's begin to break Satan's bondage through cleansing prayer.

In this chapter, "Breaking Satan's Bondage," you will break the chains of Satan's bondage and the curses that have been placed upon your life.

This prayer also acknowledges and releases bondage that has been handed down from generation to generation.

We know that generational sin happens because God's Holy Word tells us so.

Matthew 27:25: "Then answered all the people, and said, his blood be on us, and on our children's children."

Generational sin is very serious and should be dealt with before our children have to endure bondage.

Perhaps your bondage was handed down to you!

Before you begin praying this cleansing prayer, remember to get in your safe zone, put on your armor of God, and submit your heart and mind to the awesome authority of Jesus Christ.

Read through the prayer first and insert what applies to you individually staying "sensitive to anything the Holy Spirit reveals to you and write it down in the space that has been provided" in your work book.

The beauty of this prayer is that this will be an exclusive meeting between you and God, so be sure when you pray this prayer that you speak openly and audibly to God, and most important of all, mean it in your heart.

As you pray, you should feel the chains of bondage fall from around you as you retrieve the fragments of your soul.

Once you have completed cleansing, meet me in Chapter 5, "The Road To Recovery," and we, along with Christ, will continue your personal journey of healing.

Until then, "may the footsteps along your journey of life always lead you to God."
